One of the best family-run restaurants in Del Mar! The food and staff are always 10/10. Zel's is our go-to spot when we are in San Diego. The menu has delicious seasonal options and everything is always cooked to perfection. It's where the locals go and for a good reason. Live music, good vibes and even a fun cocktail menu, it's a must when in Del Mar.

Beautiful venue, we sat outside on the patio, which is dog friendly. They have a fire pit to keep the area warm on cool nights. There was a group singing and playing guitars. Classic rock. The waitress was attentive. I ordered the fish of the day. It was grouper with a lemon bernaisa (sp). And it was delightful! The squash that came with it was a perfect complement. We also got the ceviche and it was done to perfection. The pizza was also baked very well. I would definitely be a regular we’re I a local.

Great place for dinner date. Beautiful view and restaurant. Staffs are amazing. Chef is amazing. Delicious food and relaxing environment. Will come again.

Got the margherita pizza with a side of fries, not what I expected from the pizza, I thought it would be more of a traditional pizza but it seems like they put their own twist on it. The friends where fresh and even had a garlic sauce.

Amazingly tasting food, beautiful plating, inviting ambience, perfect for a romantic date night or family meal. Dessert is phenomenal too! Must try.

Food is fresh and great quality. Really good menu choices. Only thing that needs tweaking is the indoor seating in loud due to live music, not bad thing but be aware. Bar looks like cool spot for date etc.

Such a great place for lunch! The staff was so friendly. I loved all their menu options, there’s quite a few vegetarian options as well. I got the pizza with ricotta and mushrooms, and it was delicious! It came with a little pot of honey to drizzle over the pizza which was so fun and such a nice touch. I’ll definitely be coming back here again.

Our favorite neighborhood bar & restaurant. Alyssa & Ashley are the best bartenders in Del Mar, hands down. Fresh quality ingredients and great service. Casual & fun. Live music on Fri & Sat evenings.
